Safran Landing Systems has a long history of providing state-of-the-art solutions for landing systems, from landing gear to wheels and brakes and associated systems and equipment.

Mr. Jean-Baptiste Minato, Safran Director of Customer Relations & Strategy, will introduce the company and its different business units, explain the markets and business models that Safran is involved in as well as the main aircraft programmes that are equipped with Safran Landing Systems solutions.

Mr. Minato will also address the current and upcoming challenges in landing systems and the main areas of focus for research and technology that will guide the future of Safran Landing Systems products and services.

The Royal Aeronautical Society is the world's only professional body dedicated to the entire aerospace community and was established as a charitable body in London in 1866 to further the art, science and engineering of aeronautics. The Paris Branch was formed as a French Association (Loi de 1901) in 2004 at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Paris. The Branch organises regular lectures covering many different aspects of aeronautics and aerospace, aimed at professionals, students and interested parties.
