Re-Thinking The European Social Contract. Two projects, One Goal: Making European Democracies More Resilient And Inclusive

Join us for an insightful conference focused on the state of democracy in 2024—a year marked by an unprecedented number of global elections. Despite this progress, democracies worldwide face critical challenges, from political polarization and radicalization to a growing disengagement, especially among younger citizens. This event brings together expert speakers from two prominent EU-funded projects, Express2 and Co3, for a dynamic panel discussion. Together, they will explore how social contract theory can provide tools to strengthen democratic resilience and boost citizen participation. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and engage in strategies that can help shape the future of democracy.

This 'Meet The Leader Event' is the perfect opportunity to understand how scholars and institutions are thinking about the future of democracy. We are glad to welcome as guest speakers for this event:
