About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

The RAeS Paris Branch Lindbergh Lecture is held every year and this year will be given by Air Marshal Paul Lloyd, Deputy Chief of Air Staff of the Royal Air Force.

As the character of aerial warfare evolves, so must the Royal Air Force in how it seeks to engage its adversaries in order to fly, fight and win. Ongoing conflicts have highlighted how the reduced cost and increased capability of drone technology has evolved the composition of capabilities in the battlespace and, as such, cheap mass-produced effectors have been blended to lethal consequence alongside the exquisite capabilities we have become accustomed to. The future success of the RAF lies in finding the optimum hybrid blend of this High-Low mix.

The lecture will be followed by a cocktail. Participation in RAeS Paris Branch events is free, however, guests in full time employment are kindly invited to consider making a small donation to support Branch activities.
