As part of the United Nations Ocean Conference and the Year of the Sea, the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, in collaboration with its partners, is organizing a major economic event: the Nice Ocean Business Forum (NOBF). Over three days, this event will bring together companies from the blue economy, experts, financial stakeholders, international delegations, and representatives of local authorities.
This high-profile international event aims to create spaces for discussion and exchanges between stakeholders in the marine economy and sustainable development. The objective is to foster synergies and encourage concrete actions for the preservation of marine ecosystems.
Key highlights will include thematic roundtables, welcoming of international delegations, a Business France pavilion, business stands, as well as photo exhibitions and presentations of innovative solutions.

Day 1: Opening and International Networking
- Opening ceremony of NOBF
- High-level institutional roundtables
- Company presentations and pitch sessions
- Presentation of innovative solutions by international delegations (Québec, Canada, Northern Europe, etc.)
- Networking cocktail with influential figures such as Pascal Cagni, business delegations from Canada, Québec, and the Région Sud.
Day 2: Marine Technologies and Biodiversity
- Meeting of Blue Tech Cluster Alliance (BTCA) members (session in English)
- International roundtable on AI/Data, surveillance, climate, and extreme weather events (session in English)
- Focus on marine biological resources with EABA (session in English)
- Discussion on biodiversity challenges in the Mediterranean (session in French)
- Networking cocktail
Day 3: Sustainable Yachting and Underwater Innovations
- Roundtable on yachting decarbonization (session in French)
- Presentation of underwater drones and smartship advancements with the Club Sud Drone Région Sud
- Screening of the film “Heroes of the Mediterranean”, followed by a conference on eco-friendly yachting
- Networking cocktail and closing session
