I MPATRIATION AND OTHER FRENCH TAX ASPECTS
Information session for internationally mobile French and non-French professionals on tax benefits, potential deductions, and other pitfalls in the French tax system.
Why would you want to attend this webinar:
- You moved to France from another country and could be eligible for certain tax benefits, including between 30% discount on your salary (both French and non-French citizens are eligible)
- You have assets (bank accounts, rental property, stock options, investment funds…) in a country outside of France
- You send money to parents/relatives in another country and these could be eligible for deductions

- Quick review of French taxation
- Explanation of impatriation benefits and eligibility criteria
- Overview of how non-French income is treated in France and its impact on French taxation
- RSU/stock option taxation: things to keep in mind while being a French Fiscal resident in France
- Reporting foreign bank accounts/assets
- Some potential deductions for multinational citizens
- Open Q&A, allowing participants to ask questions on range of topics, such as crypto currency taxation
Damian GUILLEMINAULT: Tax preparer and advisor who has supported over 150 clients from around the world in filing French and U.S. tax forms. He specializes in working with individuals with foreign income and obligations, such as Americans working in France. His clients have included people from Latin America, Africa, North America, Asia, and Europe.
Prior to starting his own practice, Damian worked with Horton Tax Associates in Paris, where he served as French and U.S. Tax Manager. He is a registered tax preparer with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States, and his application to practice as an Enrolled Agent before the IRS is making its way through the bureaucracy (all examinations and eligibility criteria have been met).
