SYNOPSIS:
For Koffi, returning to the Democratic Republic of Congo from Belgium after 15 years away brings unexpected challenges. Koffi introduces his pregnant wife to his family. Upon his arrival, he is confronted by a community that sees him as a sorcerer. In a society steeped in ancestral beliefs, Koffi encounters three other individuals, each seeking freedom from their own fate. Together, they will attempt to break the invisible chains that bind them, with only mutual support and reconciliation offering hope of escape from their curses.

You will need a valid photo ID and your Eventbrite ticket (printed or ready on your phone). Please remember that for security purposes, the name on the ticket must match the name on the ID. If you have not entered the names of your plus-ones, you can still edit your ticket directly on Eventbrite via your computer.
There will be no on-site parking. Metered parking is available on Reservoir Road at $2.30 per hour, with a maximum of 4 hours until 10:00 pm. Garage parking is available at Georgetown MedStar Health. Use Entrance #2 at 2800 Reservoir Road NW. The rate is approximately $25 for up to 3 hours.
For security reasons, Embassy staff and security services cannot allow large bags, umbrellas, backpacks, or bike helmets to be brought onto Embassy grounds. The security team reserves the right to confiscate any items deemed inappropriate.
